Meet your new therapist.
Get to know why Cypress is different.
I am deeply passionate about understanding the emotions and behaviors that shape our lives. My journey to becoming a therapist was driven by a desire to help people through their hardest moments and celebrate their highest achievements. I founded Cypress Therapy Center with a commitment to creating a space where individuals feel seen, understood, and empowered to heal. Many of my clients have shared that they’ve struggled to connect with therapists through traditional healthcare systems, often feeling misunderstood or misaligned with their treatment. I wanted to offer something different—a place where therapy feels authentic, tailored, and, most importantly, human.
My approach is rooted in humanistic therapy, which emphasizes authenticity, empathy, and self-exploration. While I incorporate evidence-based practices like CBT and DBT, I find that the heart of my work lies in the therapeutic relationship itself. I believe in meeting my clients where they are, honoring their strengths, and gently guiding them through their struggles with grace and compassion.
I work with clients who may feel disconnected from others—those who often find themselves misunderstood, labeled as “angry” or “negative,” when in fact, these individuals are simply using defense mechanisms to protect themselves. My role is to help them dismantle these defenses, all while maintaining their autonomy and sense of self-respect. My clients often tell me that therapy with me felt different from other experiences—compassionate yet direct, with an emphasis on both personal growth and emotional honesty.
I view therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to uncover your inner brilliance. I believe you can hold both the parts of yourself that need healing and the inherent goodness that makes you unique. We will work toward goals that bring you closer to self-acceptance, emotional resilience, and healthier relationships with yourself and others. As setbacks are part of the healing process, I ensure that we meet them with understanding and openness, without judgment.
I am committed to continuous professional growth, attending specialized trainings, and staying connected to the latest developments in the mental health field. I’m also an avid reader and often share insightful books that support our work together, enriching both my own knowledge and the resources I offer to clients.
Ultimately, my goal is for you to feel that therapy with me is a place where you are not just working on your challenges, but also growing into your most authentic self. If you are looking for a therapist who offers both compassion and accountability, who values the relationship as a tool for growth, and who is committed to walking beside you in your journey, I would be honored to support you in your healing process.
